Pictured below are a few of my personal favorites. I work in a variety of metal and leather seam treatments. Art application varies and includes painting, metal and mica overlay, lamination, riveting, color tinting, and torch fired plique a jour enamel. Copper Banded Shade on Door Pottery base. $595.00 (sold)
My most recent lamp shade, made September 09. This riveted octagonal mica shade rests on Door Art Pottery base. Doubled mica gives this lamp a deep rich glow.
Plique a Jour Oak leaf mica shade $800.00 (sold)
This shade is octagonal and comprised of torch fired enamel oak leaves, tinned copper branches, and a seam leaded cloud burst panel. As with all our custom shades, the wrought spider is riveted in for added durability. All the shades on this site are hand made by me, we have no employees.

This shade is hexagonal and comprised of multi colored mica panes tinned together at all the seams and design junctions.
Fiddle Ferns & Snails Shade $550.00 (sold)
Fiddle-Fern-Snails is an octagonal shade with an overlapping leaf panel, inset translucent abalone shell jewels, and hammered copper fiddle ferns.
Spanish Cross Shade $550.00 (sold)
Spanish cross is an octagonal shade made with layered mica laminate, the hammered copper crosses are rivet applied. The crosses are avaliable in both Judeo Christian and medieval designs.
Gothic Shade $500.00 (sold)
This gothic shade is fiber rush laced and features hand painted impasto panels.
Spiderweb Shade $875.00 (sold)
The spider web is completely leaded and pieced. The variation on the right is an early painted shade that I made and is no longer available.
Flores Birds Shade $875.00 (sold)
Flores birds is a piece work shade that is sinew laced to an iron frame. There is another version of this on our contact page that is laminated design work.
Spanish Plique Rondel Shade $850.00 (sold)
Plique Roundel features enameled mesh roundel jewels in a piece work panel. The background is the same as Spanish Cross. This shade works perfectly on antique pricket bases like the one shown.
